Twitter is giving out 140 free NFTs - here's how to get your hands on one

NFTs are now being used by Twitter. However, considering CEO Jack Dorsey's keen interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, this isn't surprising.

Even so, the company is not yet attempting to profit from NFTs. It's just handing out 140 of them for free. Yesterday, Twitter issued seven tweets showcasing these digital arts, and 20 copies of each are available for free.

What must you do to obtain one? It's not difficult; simply respond to any of these tweets. Given the number of people who are responding to these tweets, you only have a small chance of winning one, though.

These NFTs are being hosted by Twitter on Rarible, a digital arts marketplace. Since the start of the year, the platform has received more than 29 million tweets on NFTs, according to the firm.

Dorsey sold his first tweet as an NFT for $2.9 million through Valuables by Cent in March.

Different types of digital items are generating a lot of curiosity among internet users. Recently, NFT of Sir Tim Berners-Lee's original source code of the internet was sold for a staggering $5.4 million.
